Escalation alerts: Slack and Discord
When something needs a human, the right human hears about it in seconds, in the channel they already watch.
Connect Slack or Discord
Alerts connect with one authorization per channel, no webhook URLs to copy. Slack or Discord asks which workspace and channel to post in, and ReplyBay remembers the choice per alert type.
- Open your ReplyBay workspace, go to Channels and scroll to Escalation alerts.
- Select the Slack or Discord card. A list of alert types opens: P0 urgent and on-call, P1 manager, P2 support team, errors, and daily metrics.
- Choose Connect next to the first alert type, pick the channel in the Slack or Discord authorization window, and confirm.
- For each remaining alert type, choose Connect again and either reuse a channel you already connected or pick a new one. Use Change later to move an alert type to another channel.
One channel per priority
Give P0 (urgent, on-call), P1 (manager) and P2 (support team) their own channels, and send errors and dead letters to the people who fix them. A refund dispute pings the manager channel; a crashed send pings engineering; nobody drowns in everything.
Escalation, delivered
Alerts fire the moment a conversation escalates, with the reason attached. Median time from angry message to alert: under five seconds.
